Further Event Information:    Come join the Barony of Darkwood as we celebrate the arts and sciences. Darkwood offers its hospitality to those seeking to teach and learn. Class sign-ups and updates for classes offered will be provided as they are scheduled. If you are interested in teaching a class, hosting a salon, or if you would like to offer a demo of the arts or sciences, please contact the Event Steward for details and scheduling.

Site Name:   Veteran’s Memorial Park

Site Address:   1200 Veteran’s Drive, Monterey, CA 93940

Written Directions to Site:   Take your best route onto CA-1 towards Monterey, California. Once in Monterey, exit on CA-68 West (exit 399C). From CA-68 West turn left Skyline Drive. Turn right onto Skyline Forest Drive and then left onto Skyline Drive. Follow Skyline Drive until it ends at Veteran’s Memorial Park. Turn right into the park and follow the SCA signs to the event.

Site Accessibility:   Close / Handicap Parking

Terrain Description:   Picnic area is unpaved, hard-packed dirt. There is an adjacent parking area for those with a placard. Pathways are mix of old pavement and unpaved with hard-packed dirt. Site is a mix of flat areas and slight hills, with some parts of uneven ground. Contact the event steward if you have questions.
