Further Event Information:    Join Bartram and Soren, Prince and Prince Consort of Oertha, as they search for their successors and continue to celebrate 40 years of living the Dream in Oertha. Cheer on the worthy combatants for the Coronets of Oertha on Saturday. The Wreath of Hephaestus, Arts & Sciences Competitions, and Ivory Spoon activities will be ongoing during the weekend. All households and groups are invited to join in a community meal on Saturday evening. Rather than a potluck, each group or household will feed their own members and guests as we gather together in the central part of the encampment. We will end the weekend with the Investiture of the Lord and Lady Borealis.

Arts & Sciences will be in abundance in this 40 Year Part 2 Celebration.

Ivory Spoon – Leeks take center stage in the Summer Coronet Ivory Spoon competition.  Bring a dish where leeks are part of the ingredients.  Want to be brave?  Create your dish on site!  Leeks will be available at the event for you to use.

40 Year Glow Up!  –  Get ready to participate in the “40 Year Glow-Up,” a special historical arts and sciences contest celebrating the growth and evolution of talent within the SCA! Participants are invited to recreate one of their earliest craft projects—a tunic, scroll, piece of armor, or any other handmade item—using the knowledge, materials, and techniques they’ve acquired over the years. This contest honors humble beginnings and the remarkable journey of learning and refinement that defines our community. From rough-hewn relics to masterful replicas, let your work tell the story of your dedication, curiosity, and creative evolution.

Wreath of Hephaestus – once again bring items to display.  Mistress Elisif will be in charge of this event that showcases many of our Oerthan artisans and craftspeople.

Special Parking Note: All vehicles must be parked in the Purple Parking Lot. Vehicles may enter the lawn area for loading and unloading only. A map will be available at gate to show where to park. Also, per the site owner, NO dogs are allowed on site. Only ADA Service Animals are allowed.
